Hi, I am Céleste!

I am currently located in Calgary, AB. I created Céleste's Cookie Jar in the early spring of 2021.

I was born & raised in Ottawa, ON. For years, my friends, family & coworkers encouraged me to take this leap and start a cookie business, as they identified my passion, love & talent for cookie making!

I started selling my sugar cookies in local markets & gained some loyal customers for custom orders, all while still working a full time job. Recently, I have been more focused on custom orders. I have found great passion in creating unique designs for my customers & their special moments.

When I am not making cookies, I work full time as a General Manager. My hobbies include reading, knitting, bullet journaling, digital drawing & enjoying the great outdoors!

About 15 years ago, I took my first stab at making these cookies at home. I remember being so proud of my work.

Looking back at the progress I have made from that first batch 15 years ago, and even the progress I have made since I started this business 2 years ago. There is a lot to celebrate! I never shy away from a challenge, or learning new techinques. Each "failed" project allowed me to learn, persevere and succeed (I won't lie, there were meltdowns!) but it really helped shaped me into the baker I am today!
